SquareSpace
One of the most advanced user interfaces for users coupled with almost boundless creative ability makes SquareSpace a great offer. The only catch? After 14 days you will have to bring out your credit card. The price is not too bad at $8 a month for the most basic package. In essence their offer isn’t unique except that it reminds us of the difference between an Apple and a PC – they are both computers, right? Well, Apple has a great following because of the user experience. SquareSpace has that going for them even if they are very similar to other leading services such as Weebly, Homestead, Webstarts and Wix, to name but a few.

SquareSpace interface starts off very impressive and the sample web sites they show of other clients look great. I tried to use their free 14 day sample and built a simple web site for an artist who simply wanted a bio web site with photos of their art. I couldnt get the web site up. I couldnt figure our the user interface or how to control the web site and options. Way to many option and none of them clear.
Im sure that SquareSpace users can create great web sites once they can figure out how but I couldnt. They seem to give an endless amount of options for how you can create your site but with so many options and so little user design interface we are really left with a problematic site builder. I am very technically capable and work with a great variety of software. I feel that if I couldnt figure out after a couple of hours their is something wrong with the design which is supposed to cater to standard computer users.
